Integrating Rituals Into Your Week
Our first retreat, Integrating Rituals Into Your Week: 5 New Ways to Practice Self-Care, will be held at the beautiful Forage Florals barn located at Sunstone Estates, 125 North Refugio Road in Santa Ynez, California. We will focus on five main pillars of wellness: movement, creativity, nourishment, relaxation, and mindfulness. Whether you are new to these activities or an expert, our seminars are designed to elevate your well-being and provide a retreat from everyday life to focus on self-care.
For movement, Sarah Highnote leads Restorative Flow where she will guide you through a sequence of deep stretches, free-flowing poses and breath work aimed at enhancing flexibility, relieving any tension or stress and relaxing the mind.
Forage Florals covers the creativity pillar with a hands-on workshop creating intentional bath salts focus on energizing moods, healing emotions and relaxing the mind.
Melissa Hepler, an Ayurveda expert, will teach you the art of making authentic ayurvedic tea. She will explore the benefits of this powerful detoxifier that improves nutrient absorption, stimulates the lymphatic system and flushes out toxins.
A popular form of relaxation, aromatherapy, will be led by Rebecca Mendelson. In this workshop, she will cover the basics of essential oils such as what they are, how they can be used and safety tips. You will have the opportunity to mix your very own roller bottle blend to take home.
For the final pillar, Mindfulness, Lauren Bragg, will teach designing abundance through journaling. Using a variety of journalizing exercises that help attract and manifest what’s most important to you, you will create a roadmap with Bragg to help you achieve your passionate goals.
A one-day retreat ticket costs $325 and includes a picnic lunch, snacks and beverages and a glass of Sunstone wine at the end of the retreat to enjoy with your new friends. With only twenty spaces available, retreats expect to sell out so we encourage you to purchase your ticket soon. Can’t make this one? Valley Wellness Collective will host up to three retreats per month with different experts featured at each event. A portion of all proceeds will benefit local Santa Ynez Valley charities focused on health and wellness.
